My passion for watches began with my father's pocket watch that I inherited. He got it when he was a soldier in the Second World War.

Thanks and tbh, in hindsight, thoughtless on my part, so glad it landed okay. A beer or two, etc. I've always liked watches, right from when I was a kid. No idea why as my father restored and collected English long case clocks. And didn't wear a watch

This makes me understand that in the end, it is in the DNA of each of us, that passion for watches passed down from our fathers or grandfathers. Even if your father did not wear them on his wrist, he still repaired the column and pendulum ones, now obsolete in our days.
