How tough are these? I've done some reading on the net about carbon watch cases and it seems that in some cases the carbon cases aren't too tough and with time they do abrade, corners getting rounded and they start to resemble a piece of soap...

Not on mine! Maybe I have been very careful?

I once knocked it against a corner and the CG has a tiny tiny dent since then.

Truth to be told it doesn't get a nice patina after diving in a swimming pool. The black surface catches a lot of dirt when wet. Nothing a good rinsing can't solve.

And it's freaking light! Like a Casio watch.
