soldering dial feets for a cortebert 616

dial feets soldering easy make:

1. tools require
Image
2. copy the holes to the dial plate and drill the holes inside
3. cut the head of some brass nails and sand them to diameter
4. copy the holes of the dial plate to a wood and hammer the brass nails inside
Image
5. take something to put under the dial plate, so the dial plate align with the feets
Image
6. take some solder paste and solder wire and solder the dial feets
Image
7. cut the dial feets to length and control fitting to the movement plate
Image
8. in case another watch smith will do a service one day in the feature make everything look shiny and beauty

Just a quick mockup, may replace the bottom part with an elastic round thingy instead of the leather strap. It's just for the handing over, after that he can do what he want with it.

As I said, excellent build! May I ask for the source of dial?

Helenarou. This case accepted the dial as it is, but most cases will require that you shave off a bit.
