Among other features, luminor has a rare cal.618 cortebert movement

Man, you clearly stated in your text that this is Cortebert/Rolex 618.

Few answers later, you admit that it is not.

I think we are missing the point here...

Must agree with Kp0y and Madantique

Look what I found in my drawer

From my view it is similar to your movement.
516? Hm... Yes..Image

Let's compare with real 618. Found it in another drawer :)
Hm... I think something is different here :)
What I need to prove? :)
Let's calm down and as I said in my first post here, let's call the things as they are.
Movement from Luminor is not 618, it is 517/516. That's all.

If you find it funny, good for you :)

As for discussion, I base mine in facts not on speculation.
You want to discuss, prove your point and share data, pics whatever can support your statement.
It is not a 517 as you pretended to call it. Look at the pictures

Does mine look like your 517/516?
Compare the pics. 516, Guess not.
What comes next, I guess there is no 515 for you to jump on
@Kp0y
Does this look like a 517 or 516?

I can jump to 514 from my trash can :)

If someone sold you a 514/516 with R***x engravings this doesn't mean you have 618.
You can sell your Luminor for what you want. Just don't name 514/516 as 618. Those are different.

My movement is not like the one you have on hand so it is not a 517 (your first statement), 516 (your second statement)
515, 514 ot whatever you pretend it to be.

As I referred my ebauche has 618 engraved under the balance wheel so I call it 618 accordingly even if i am wrong.
What it a fact is that it looks exactly like a rolex 514 (eaton) but for sure none of your references.
The same way if i look at a rolex cal 618 and can notice the difference, i believe that you can do the same comparing mine to any of the references you provided.
You may call it a funny discussion, I call it ridiculous.

Ridiculous is to sell Eaton/Tellus/Cortebert/UIT/Jupiter 514 as Rolex 618. I hope you know that all those was made only by Cortebert.

That was my intention, to call things as they are.

All starts here :)
Calling a 514 as 616. (I was meant 618, sorry)
Just this. And I was trying to convince that 6** series are different from 5**
