It wasn't easy to find them ... keeping them both wouldn't hurt. I'll see what to do. Otherwise the painless solution would be to swap the dials ... but the feet would no longer match.
Anyway thanks to all of you for the valuable advice.

Are these SM300’s still for sale at Sillix or other dealers?
Exactly ...
viable solution as already said before.

I believe no TDs in the other forums still sell this piece. On rwg I saw an ad for Ticino sm300 homage.

+1. If in doubt sell the one you want to keep- it will force you to mod it!
In any circumstance I think we need to put a hand on it for mod.
Besides, it's our fun.

Although if you kept the one with the miyota it would accept a genuine omega white second hand which cousins have for £16, omega size is 0.18 miyota is 0.17 and the miyota is non hacking like the omega as well so a tough choice to make, keep both

The no date and the ETA movement is the winner in my opinion, kick out the Miyota.
It's pretty obvious that I am not a fan of the Asian movements, isn't it?

Well, apart from the Grand Seiko and some others.

Guys ...
I appreciate your advice ... really useful to know what to do. In conclusion, I could think of selling the one with the miyota movement and then modify the one with the Enicar movement.
On Rafflesdial I could buy the dial without date and then age it properly.

You know the history behind the name ENICAR?

The maker was married to a woman named RACINE and spelled it backwards.

Hi M.
Yeah .. I knew the name backwards, but I didn't know it was the name of the founder's wife.
Similar story maybe, I think for the Oris brand ... originally Siro. Image
