Darn. I already ordered the other one. I wonder if they’re the same case... not enough pics provided to say definitively. Main differences I can spot are the different hands, and the more expensive model I ordered has sapphire crystal (supposedly). We’ll have to see what system the lugs use or even if the back is display or solid...
Would be cool if someone ordered this less expensive case and report back with some more extensive pics. Would love to see one with Kpoy drilled lugs and a Kpoy custom crystal... hint, hint

As I said, watches from my link are not so good for a vintage build. Lug bars are fixed with a lock like on modern Pam. Removing and laser welding will cost too much and do not cost the effort.
More expensive watches from previous links are with lugs like on old Pams and are better for vintage builds.
But...
Both are with automatic movements that have different offset for winding stem. So replacing with a 6497, 3600, 916, 616 will be a problem... I'm not sure if those movements will ever fit inside.

Not the same case

The one you showed Kpoy is a megafat boi, not the due style but the old chunky style. I have one and it is so top heavy that I can`t really wear it.

You won`t find a better price than what I found on the due style

I search all over the place before I buy, and happy to share with you guys.

Yeah I saw that the case thickness for the case Kpoy linked me was 18mm, but I thought that might be typical misprint but I guess not!

Also I do believe this version of the Due we have bought have the screw-down case back instead of the press on case back of the dealers closer to gen Due reps.

The watch arrived yesterday. Pretty quick, I must say!
First off, despite the branding on the watch on the AliExpress site, you actually receive a rep watch. The quality is actually very good, the brand markings are engraved rather than printed and the dial has a lovely sunburst finish. 22mm lugs with shoulder less spring bars, a screw down caseback, and creased sides... I’d say this is an excellent base for a vintage project.

Sweet! I am still waiting for mine. I knew you would be satisfied
Thanks for the pictures. I wonder if you can fit a 6497/98 or maybe a Molinjia and a slimmer caseback.
Experiments to follow when I get mine.
