I believe we should be clear to mention esDee has two versions of the WL. The first release has straight bottom surface/edges while the second release has the angled bottom surface/edges.

More to the question of how to tell River from esDee WL, it is really apparent, imo. The dial size being the most obvious. The lug shape of the V2 esDee (not the V1), the lug joints, the main body, the finish, etc. are less obvious, but all different between the two. That is my experience of having them all in hand at one time.
