I had no business dealings with Taylor. However, the sentiments expressed in this thread, not so good relations and transactions etc, suggest it’s useful to keep a few general rules I mind-
There are a few seasoned vets here (and elsewhere) who know history and past transactions going back years, so if anyone isn’t sure about any buyer, or seller, always contact mods here who can discretely make inquiries on your behalf. I have done this in particular for older expensive parts for myself, and other mods have been very useful to vouch (or not) for particular sellers and buyers.
For a newbie, it’s very easy to overpay for parts or builds at silly prices etc. if mods here don’t know what the story is, others on other boards will know etc. Waiting and asking is a lot easier than rushing and regretting later on.

That's how he is! If he was a cunt, then he could keep himself occupied for the rest of his life. Probably is.drkside wrote: ↑April 10th, 2019, 2:41 pm"He was made of chocolateYoda wrote: ↑April 10th, 2019, 4:50 am https://www.repgeek.com/off-topic/28290 ... hinen.html

The build I bought, and then got in a dispute with him about had a hand filed coinage bezel that looked fine on photos but in person looked like it had been filed by someone with the shakes... with the lights turned off...during an earthquake.

Re: “Who’s Taylor” MEISTURWERK MACHINEN
I never heard about his douche-bag reputation? I had one transaction with the guy, years ago ... I did always think he was probably a trust fund baby or came into money ... the guy seem to have lots of nice expensive toys, bikes, furniture, cars, etc ... even some rare movements in his builds ... but I always thought he charged crazy for some of his more generic builds. I never knew if he did all the build work himself, or someone else.
He did make two straps for me with Elias original run of buckles ... nice stuff, but in some respects a bit too thick for my wearing preference.

Hold on a sec, I’ll answer that question as soon as I can figure out how to roll up one of my pant legs permanently.Tanukjaju wrote:
