I actually had the Strat commissioned. Just bought a cheap MIM and let the artist have fun. Turned out great.
Heavy metal guitar, awesome industrial look! Install a high output Screaming Demon humbucker to finish it off.
I may have to send it back to the artist for a humbucker mod one day for sure. Great idea

I once had a late 1960s Fender Stratocaster with Floyd Rose and this Screaming Deamon humbucker by the neck, the sound was like being in a cathedral and plugged in the Mesa Boogie amp through a 1960s Cry Baby pedal and a box, wohooo. I almost got wrecked from my apartment. The closest you come to sex with your clothes still on.

Built and aged/finished the board myself, it was supposed to look like the top of a crate but it morphed into this. The Brass plate I had JMB do for me.
