Initially when i had sold off the California Dial watch and had not yet found this Sea Dweller, yes. It was nice to look at a pile of $ but the Cali was beloved.

After that several months went by with unmet expectations for a possible 1665 that never came to fruition left me even more disappointed until I stumbled on this one! A friend who was a watch buyer for dealers actually recommended against this one initially but as we dug deeper we found out it was a great deal nicer and a better value proposition than we had anticipated.

Now, looking back over the saga of about 4 months and celebrating this watch, I don’t think I’ll ever have regrets.

(Full disclosure, no regrets is because I’m a lucky little sh*t and found myself another gen Cali Dial :lol:)

I keep thinking I'm going to unload a few to buy something nice as well. This may be my inspiration thread.
