But if there's a need to save newbies from buying rubish, we can start a new thread "Rediculous eBay Auctions" or "eBay Auctions to keep away" or something.
Thoughts?
Hello, that's a good idea!
"Rediculous eBay Auctions" would be apposite!

Ps. Unfortunately no real progress with the EGI DSN. I am still waiting for a new crystal.

Sure.
But what is an interesting eBay auction?
Interesting as in I like it?
Or I think others would find it interesting?
Or I think it’s a giant scam and fond it interesting that people attempt to sell stuff like that on eBay?

Because I think that is all interesting. I have posted at least one of each on this thread.

I vote that instead of creating another thread we just create the “interesting eBay auction police” that can determine what is or isn’t interesting and nuke the rest.

Then if we disagree with the interesting eBay auction police we can say “F... the Police” and post what we think is interesting anyway!

Unless you are talking about ridiculously interesting eBay auctions... then I could see a new thread for that!

I’m just messing with you of course.

Maybe a good base for a 6152-1 no CG.
Anyway, the price is the bomb!

Oh boy € 1,455.00 :!:
Even € 14.55 would have been too much for this ridiculous PAM TRASH :!:

Not really ebay but nevertheless some interesting watches and parts.

A small german auctioneer is holding an auction on collectible watches and parts:

did some reading, and is seems the the watches that this dial belongs to where a batch of 41 special Luminor Slytechs that Panerai sent to Sylvester Stallone ... Sly did not like the color of the dial and he sent back the watches, but only 37 made it back .. 4 were lost.

The dial in this auction looks legit ... the tiny lume dots have mostly fallen off. If it's from one of the obvious "lost" watches .. I can see where that watch was maybe parted out
