Very excited to receive a couple of pieces back from
@unreformed66 that he has been working on for me. First, my grandfather's 1945 army-issued A-11 field watch which needed a new balance staff, a thorough cleaning, and a new plexi. I asked Dave not to repaint the hands or polish it, as I wanted it to look just the way it did when my Dad handed it down to me a couple of years ago. My Dad passed away in January, and I've been freshly motivated to refurbish and organize the heirlooms I have from him. This is an immensely important piece to me and I'm thrilled and grateful for Dave's work on it.
Next was a Zenith pocket watch I bought "as-is" on a lark via ebay a while ago, just because it was cheap, looked very clean, and I had my fingers crossed I could fix it myself. It turned out to be more pristine than I had even hoped, and
@Yoda advised that it was reasonably rare - so I chose not to risk working on it myself and finally sent it to Dave. It got a service and a small repair that I never would have discovered myself, as well as a new crystal. Looking beautiful.
Shout out to Dave for his amazing skill and great communication. Can't wait to receive these pieces.

I received the other day two movement sticks from AliExpress. Not bad.
Comparison:
left Bergeon (~20€ each)- right AliExpress (4,-€ each)
