I have custom made casebacks for this cases. Solid engraved and OPB display.

Those are same for crownguard case also (the fat one)

I worked a lot with this cases, removed crown area recess, a bit of reshape and case is good.

Also T24 plexi is a must have, Sternkreuz is a bit lower.

I have a few of these cases also. I do wish the CB was compatible with others so I could get a good display version, but for the money it’s a great base to build an everyday watch.

BTW - Raffles' 8MM crown fits the existing tube on this case...

No, I left it as is. I think I would bugger that job if I tried it =).

I did notice Alex's comment, so I'll be reaching out to him RE those casebacks. That could be a game changer. Like I said I have a few of these, and I did actually try drilling one out to make my own display CB of it - it doesn't look awesome, but all I have is a drill press so...

Absolutely, your case looks already very good as it is now, with an engraved crown and opb caseback it would be perfect...
Finally again a cheap, available case that can be modded to look awesome!

Thanks [mention]Mike08[/mention] . The Raffles crown fits nicely in that step. I also have a Raffles 8MM RLX crown, but this watch I was shooting for a totally sterile, unmarked homage. I am still working on the dial so for now it has the MM dial.

I'll keep the crown as is. Mine is an OP. So this will be a nice modern Radi project. One with no second dial, and the other with a sub second chapter at 6 o'clock. Both dials surely from Belkin12
