I will know when I get them, but I have no reason to doubt the product pictures. It`s easy to tell painted hands form heat blued hands or anodized ones. The purple hue imperfections tell a story.

I am almost convinced that they are heat blued, BUT there is a BUT, the imperfections may be that the treatment didn't stick evenly, and that the tube on the hour hand is blue as well - these are normally not made of steel and therefore I have never seen them blue.

Still, great looking hands!

This is probably an IP coating treatment.
Center second tube is blue as well, with steel hands, this tube is usually made of brass or similar soft metal, so it never turns to blue.
Hour hand tube is too long to be made of steel.
I had a lot of genuine blue heated steel hand batches produced and I can also tell you that these should be even more expensive, especially with genuine SLN C3…
The seller doesn't mention "steel", "heating" ... trust me: if he had to afford the cost of genuine steel hands, he couldn't forget these details.

They are still nice hands as mentioned It isn`t the first nor the last time I have been wrong about soemthing. Can`t wait to get them.

Anyone knows where to source a mineral crystal, not sapphire, for fiddy 127, at a reasonable cost, other than some Ebay sellers. Do you think, though plexi, Sternkreuz HW 40mm will work?

I found a seller at aliexpress, that supplies a sapphire, that costs something
