I just wonder if they saw a watch a Tokkotai with the outer dial turned 5 minutes back and copied it, or did they think it just looked better turned and forgot to recalibrate.
I've only seen this dial as a Japanese one. Is there precedence for this being omega?

Re: Interesting eBay Auctions
Question is whether the buyer will notice it before bidding.

Re: Interesting eBay Auctions
But for that price, I could overlook the fact that it is quartz. Could be a nice every day beater.civic4982 wrote:
I totally dig this one.
If it wasn’t quartz id snag it.

Re: Interesting eBay Auctions
Wait, the dial says electronic. Could be different from a quartz movement.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm not familiar with Electronic watches. Could be something cooler than quartz.

Re: Interesting eBay Auctions
There was something on Hodinkee about electronic watches referring to an electronic Omega watch. It was one of the recent "Talking Watches" interviews. The interviewee said that the batteries run out fast.
Could be a nice conversation piece. Hard to find a cool watch for $100.

Re: Interesting eBay Auctions
I own one f300Hz electronic tuning fork Connie, the battery last quite long, >6months. And it's just a normal LR type battery. SR type is difficult to find, but I believe it will last even longer.Luminor wrote:There was something on Hodinkee about electronic watches referring to an electronic Omega watch. Yes but, six months for a watch is not long.
