I really can appreciate the work and ideas behind all this, but it saddens me to say that the difference is the price and the time spent on these movements.
Why should I want a tourbillion or a double escapement movement embedded in precious materials and design when it really can't do anything else than show the time? I know that some of these expensive gadgets are not more precise than a reasonably well made standard movement.
