Hey straps68, are those (on the right with logo) MX buckles? Like the 232 type?

Kind of, I make them based on lots of pictures of the gen buckles from the 90's. I make them purely with hand tools so each looks a little different. Similar to this one but the new batch have fatter engravings.

Interesting. I always preferred the slightly smaller and slightly bent MX buckle compared to the monstrous sized true-vintage-styled ones ... can you make them without the OP engraving? (Btw I have a gen MX buckle if you need close-up pictures.)

Those buckles are as you describe...as near as I can come without being able to measure a gen buckle. But still, I think they are very close, except that the edges on mine are not nearly as rounded as the gens, because the gens were machine finished, and I don't have a polishing machines.

I can make them without engravings.

Pictures are great, I have lots of them but if you cared to measure a gen buckle, that would be interesting. Especially if you could flatten it...OK, OK, I'm just kidding

No parts were used from Jorge. The barrel bridge was an unfinished prototype, the hole for the setting lever screw wasn't there and the hole for the center wheel was only marked and not broached to size.
The intermediate winding wheel solution is my own idea and it works well.

Stock steel mm case with small mods- rounded cg pin, bevel added to crown teeth top and bottom, crown gasket mod to achieve 1000m wr, red gaskets front and back, back from cleaning and regulating movement.

Been a while since I had a steel mm- looking forward to it!
