It's a standard dial for Hamilton from Helenarou. I have had this movement in another case earlier, but with the extraordinary help from Fizzzz it is finally home. Original hands and I have a plan for the final dial, after that I will leave it and let it live on.
Can’t wait to see what you end up doing for the dial.
+1
Please tell us more about this plan
You know how it is, ideas and plans.....

I have been thinking veneer on a standard back dial, gold numerals and indices/dots on a silver dial, transparent blue on a highly polished silver dial with gold numerals and indices/dots, sunburst dials....it goes on.
I need to fulfill a few obligations before my conscience will allow me to start working on my own stuff.

Nice project!
and a lot of work too... but this wonderful 923 definitely worth it.
Most Hamilton dials are 0.45mm or more, so you'll have to sand a little unless you're willing to modify the bezel.
I like the idea of re-using the gold numerals and indexes, I'm sure you're able to drill these tiny holes, I wouldn't have enough patience (nor skill) to do so.
(I still have a non-drilled dial if you need)

Oh really?
just “a few” is a good news
Still have my place on your task list? ;)

Yes, it has been hanging over my head for way too long and I am stuck with quite a few issues.

Yes, cancer is the most disturbing thing. 😂

I sincerely doubt that an email will solve this issue, but I appreciate the offer.

No problem, how could you know. I am getting pretty used to this after more than ten years, so I try to make the most of it every day.
