I lied and said that I needed the crown and that original Omega crowns are hard to find.

I admit that I am over the moon, a perfect movement, perfect hands and a perfect dial.
The case has no dings and dents, plexi is nice and I only need to service the movement and give the case a little TLC.
I think you deserve it more than anyone else so no harm in lying to a Karen.

Now to find out what strap to go with the Omega 120...

I'd like a raw looking one, kinda dress watch for every day use.

I could imagine a minimal stitch might go well.

I am not an expert on Omega, so I have read about the different types and it seems that the Seamaster 120 was made in four different types, with date, without date, automatic (calibre 552, correct me if I am wrong) and the manual calibre 601, the one with the 601 being the most uncommon.
I saw one in an auction, it was a bit well used and went for $970, seems that my $6 Omega was a pretty good deal.

Saw a 601 in very good condition almost without any wear marks for $1800. Very good deal :)

I'll skip the service of the Seamaster 120, it starts on the second turn of the crown and runs for hours on those three or four turns.
