Yes, it was well worth the $6 at a flee market this past weekend...

The woman said that her husband said that it was an automatic and I gave it a good shake to make her believe that I was thinking the same thing.

I just told her that it was dead and we closed the deal.

The 601 is the finest manual movement Omega ever made, durable and reliable. I look forward to wearing it when cleaned, oiled and strapped.

I met the lady again yesterday afternoon and she wondered why I wanted to pay $6 for a non working watch.....
I lied and said that I needed the crown and that original Omega crowns are hard to find.

I admit that I am over the moon, a perfect movement, perfect hands and a perfect dial.
The case has no dings and dents, plexi is nice and I only need to service the movement and give the case a little TLC.
