I picked one of these up as well but luckily had none of the issues mentioned…
Additionally Steeldive are also doing an homage to the Omega Megaquartz Seamaster 1000 9albeit with an auto movement )

The omega mega quartz seamaster 1000 was a prototype ploprof replacement that ended up being scrapped because the quartz movement wouldn’t reliably function when the cold temps of deep water would affect it.
