Well done and congrats Yoda. And all the rest of you who have managed to quit.

For now I have switched to heating tobacco instead of smoking. There has been a huge change in my fitness level (as if I were a non smoker) etc. but I still inhale nicotine regularly. No smoke/tar etc. though, and I don't stink. One day...

Congratulations Michael,

I quit a few years ago (I don’t even remember when it was),
My doctor words were really helpful:
He told me that smoking is not a bad habit but an addiction,
so you don’t have to feel guilty or weak, it’s not just a matter of willingness.

I always have a packet of cigarettes in a drawer,
I can smoke when I’m in a party or diner … and wake up free the day after.

The good thing is, after 2 months, you should have recover the sense of smell and taste.
Enjoy the spring my friend!

In my case it is all about getting rid of an old habit, not smoking cigarettes and inhaling the smoke.

I make a mark for every day without this, 65 days and counting today.
Nice!
That’s going on almost 100 days by now then.

I stopped sometime in 2016 when our first was born.

Now, even the smell is nauseating if I’m around cigarette smoke.

It’s rather rare here that people smoke or vape where we live on the USA.

Yes, 96 days today.

It's pretty easy, much easier than I would have thought.

The smell when people smoke is not disturbing me at all, so I am satisfied so far and starting again is not an option.
