Hello from Germany
In my eyes no.2 is the one that hits me most, too. The proportions work perfectly and there is no extra thing like the triangles on no.1.
Great project and great skills to design, cad-draw an make a 3d-print

Option 1 is a great concept and would be neat with a tweak of the design, like no notching in the bezel (keep it smooth so that it doesn't distract from the interesting elements of the case), orange/red lume instead of the green so as to compliment the bronze aspects, and maybe either thinner spokes in the center or straight spokes in the center to direct the eye.
Obviously I agree with the others who also like option 2 as well, but I think option 1 could be amazing with some minor revision work.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Itches are good!
I definitely like the 1st one inspired by the MM.
#2 reminds me of this Parnis I saw in passing a while back.

Another prototype down the line is this one, but its on the dressier side. 46mm less than 5.5mm thick minus the crystal
You can take my money if you decide to build this one.

V ... for my 2 cents ... and being the owner of several Panerai cases and a smaller 6-3/4 to 7" wrist ... depending on the humidity and how many beers I drank
1. my opinion will be that a more medium size case 45mm to 47 will appeal to more ... and it will house most our manual and vintage movements
2. 6152-1 is already a large case for small/medium wrist ... however they wear more comfortable and smaller than a Hornlug/Fixed Lug ... because the case and lugs slope and taper down from the crystal .. especially if using a thin caseback which reduces elevation of the case
3. the 372 style cases are also large, though they do have thinner case back ... and hug the wrist very well
4. the newer 47mm submersibles actually wear smaller than the 372 case set ... for example the 671
5. the newer style 47mm Luminor 1950 case sets with sapphire domed crystal actually wear smaller than 47mm would suggest ... once again, seems the sloping of the crystal down to the bezel, the case shape and on down to the lugs wraps around the wrist very comfortably ... and someone like me can wear that case with no issues

See how the lugs on the Luminor 1950 curve in more compared to the 372 type case ...
The Luminor 1950 and the Luminor Submersible seem to have similar case design (exception of the domed crystal vs the bezel/crystal) ... the result is that both these cases wear more comfortable (on my wrist at least) compared to all these other cases.

Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments and feedback.
I know size is a bit, clownish for most people, but like I mentioned im developing a unique watch for just my wrist, and anything less than 44 looks girly on my 8.2" wrist.
Can they be scaled down? ofcourse they can if someone is interested in such a project but at this point its not my intention. Ive always wanted to create a watch beyond the constrains of what gen looks like and finally got the chance to start doing it.
I started working on the insides of #2, rotating bezel done, caseback is fixed. figured out a way for everything to be front loaded
