Denis wrote:Dear Friend, the case you chose is excellent, I really like it. I'm not sure what thickness of dial it can accommodate. Mostly H1 height is enough for california, a single-layer dial, for thicker sandwich dials there are H2, H3, but also hands with a long tube offered by Ataya.. This photo is related for swiss Unitas 6497, I don't measurement for asian, it's little different movements.. Although first you need to see which dial can fit in your case.. Maybe best solution contact some Forum dial maker and consultant with him..
The dial came with a full Damascus dial, but i think it was was too thick for the case, because I could not get the dome side screwed down all of the way and when the caseback was all the way screwed it all seemed to have a wobble.

Are there gaskets for these cases by chance also?

Friend Ataya is a serious manufacturer and it's a bit strange to me that these parts don't fit together.. Try to screw both the upper and lower parts evenly.. To find the middle.. I think it should fit then.. This damascus dial is great, can you put his picture.. Are you sure you ordered the ring for the ut 6497 because, for example, the molnija 3601 is a bit thinner and you could have the problem you describe.. The best thing to do is to slowly screw both covers until you center them.. It can be a little jumpy with this type of case.. But firs I think you need ut6497 without second pinion for this dial.. Impossible montage dial without second hole on movement with second pinion.. I don't see is your movement 6498 have second pinion.. All in all you need 6497 movement without second pinion for 2533 dial. See topic viewtopic.php?p=104804#p104804
Maybe you should see one of the Forum masters with more experience to put everything together for you, or tell you precisely which components to get..I think you need a 6497 with a shortened seconds shaft, there is an excellent tutorial on the Forum on how to shorten the shaft.. The blue hands that go to 2533 are offered by Ataya, since they have a long tube, you don't need either H2 or H3 6497. H1 is enough, you'll get a little have to shorten the tube so that it lies nicely.. Post a picture of the dial plate itself so we can see it, it's only for the first layer, which requires a thin plate with legs underneath on which the lume will be applied. Photo 2533
