The stem coupler on the Proxima mm300 uses a small flat head screw. I easily removed everything, including the movement, to transfer to the Proxima V2 case set. The V2 has the dual manta rays on the back and has a much longer bezel "click spring" which makes the bezel tighter.....although I never had a problem with the V1. Very positive operation and perfect alignment without "backplay"......at least on mine.
