I would like to know how something like this happens? Was the watch purposefully left in the sunlight everyday for years? was it strapped to the mast of a sailboat for 9 months? Humidity intrusion . but then that would screw up everything inside?! Left under some special UV light bulb or pizzeria heat lamp?
sans a blow torch or oven baking shrinky dink technique ... how can I do this to my white explorer or my 1675

Yeah.... not a chance.
The dial was aged in a pattern, not the random gradations that would occur naturally.
Relumed with tritium? When did tritium paint stop being used? Why are the indices pitted instead of just dulled?
Why do the hands look pitted instead of faded and how did what looks like cat fur get on the second hand?
