I have probably have over 40 watches ...and parts and movements to make another 10?

Then again, my ex-wife was never into my hobby, so she didn't create too much of a fuss ...and the currently girlfriends don't really know about watches or their cost.

So ... my only enemy is with myself. .. because part of my brain says "you have too many Fking watches!!" ... and the other part of my brain says ... "they are your kids, you can't sell any of them!"

Ahahahah. I'd buy whatever she wants and buy myself a ticket to own as many watches as I want

Update, this hobby is far more expensive for me, now that I realize

Loophole:

If you have X many watches that do not function or are in need of repair you can throw them in a box and say “I have a box of parts”. Or “I have a box of watch parts/spares for projects”.

If you only count functioning watches then the whole dynamic changes.

This works great for watches, not so much for larger objects like espresso machines, motorcycles, cars or military grade mech suits.

Never too many watches... 100+, 90 builds and counting. (Including 7 more Angelus 240 builds).
