True. That's why I'm happy and made the post
. I was looking my bench and all the tools, parts and watches and thought about that. 2 years ago I was thinking in watches in a buyer perspective, now, I think in builds.

That’s actually was the thing that brought me to HF v1. People were always willing to share. I went to many forums and the warmness, enthusiasm and willingness to share was what made me feel totally at home at HF
Here are a couple of examples.
WUS - you want to make a watch? Don’t be crazy, do you know how much it costs to make a watch. People spend years and thousands of dollars just to learn what they know.
Some other forums.... you want to learn about the movement? Why don’t you just buy one and figure it out yourself.
Spot on! It is even worse on some of these forums.
I have been kicked out and banned from some of these, thanks for that.
I have also been banned from a few. If not I would still be wasting time on them. I learn so much here the forum should charge a tuition. I see none of the ego either that makes certain other places so intolerable. I couldn't think of a thing right now to improve this forum because it is already that good.
