Just noticed the luxury bazar link. I grew up and still know the guys who own the company. They have a very impressive showroom not far away from where I live.

Did you not see the clip. It has an alarm. Has to be real.

On a side note this is where the Panerai thing started for me. I always liked watches as back as far as I can remember. I still have a dive watch I had as a kid. (One of the ones I hadn't taken apart.) So I always paid attention to them and the fine details.

I seen this movie I think in around 2000 and I remember that first scene thinking a mechanical watch with an alarm that goes beep. What the.... so I started researching like crazy when I got home.......and fell into the Panerai hole.

Edit: I just realized I posted a photo from Transporter 1. BMW and Panerai 074
The video clip was from Transporter 2. Audi and Panerai 250

The Pam in the movie is a Daylight chronograph ,there is no alarm,as you can also see in the dial!In movies anything can happen !!

Yes that orfina watch was a great watch ,later Porche put it larger production but it was still made by Orfina even if the removed that!

This is a Pam alarm watch ,the movement is made by JLC

Yes that was a great built and a good looking one! Panerai could have easily built something like that back then, but then again they were not a watch company but a naval instrument builder.
