You are essentially looking to do the opposite of this. You'll have to figure out the DWO, hands and spacing.

Not at all. The OD is different and so are hand sizes. Stem offset might be different as well. And whereas Seiko hands may fit the ETA except for the seconds, they will not fit the Miyota at all.

All 3 are different in diameter and will hence need spacer work.
Miyota hands: 152 / 100 / 17
NH35 hands: 150/90/21
2824 hands: 150/90/25

So the 2824 is a better match except for the seconds hand. I’ve not explored the stem to main plate offset yet.

There isn’t a “direct replacement” between brands of movements. There are considerations to follow with each.

However Seiko Automatic hands are interchangeable with other Seiko Automatics. So your question about the NH35 to 6R35 swap is possible.

I’m particular to Seiko movements for some reason. I think for the money you can’t beat an NH35 (less than $40 on eBay)
My favorite is the 6R15/NE15. I have a 62mas reissue (SBDC053) with this movement and love it. Amazing power reserve!

Again a $40 NH35 is hard to beat. And a $120 NE15 is as good as an ETA that is double it’s cost.

I’d save your 2824 for a build.

Thanks for all the info guys ,but i think possibly if i do get one of these TUNA divers the best thing to do if i replace to something better would be to get a 6R15/NE15.
I saw one DIver that i like the case dont know if it really is a 1000m case but i guess it would be at least 100m safe for swiming etc.
Just being picky, and with OCD hf mod mania etc wanted something better inside.

just to remind, probably you already know. but for seiko watch (and other microbrand watches, not sure with swiss watches standard), 100m isn't meant for swimming.

minimum WR allowed for swimming is 200m.

Good choice on the NE15. You won’t be disappointed.
