Engine is a 1930s non alarm angelus 240 worked by Michael probably 7-8 years ago (before anyone would work on these movements). This was my first 240 and iirc it was michael’s first experience with these also. The hair spring or pivot was FUBR (I forget which) .. the original train bridge was replaced by an A&F bridge a couple of years ago. She still keep decent timing over the first 7-8 days.
Dial is by Ross, done in the style of the shipmate by A&F.
The strap is the only part that I haven’t figured out yet.
Omg. That’s a workhorse. I’ve cleaned a couple of those movements in the past and they feel bomb proof.
