Indices don‘t seem to be filled, the roller on the lever, crown tube, ...
Whenever they use a solid case back they take the opportunity to reduce production costs.
by 5 franks/RMB :eh:

But in all fairness, that is not always a bad thing as some of the new movements are pretty ugly

Those green indices are ugly as sin, I'm sorry...

The quality of homage any of us could create with the kind of money panerai has would put any of their best attempts to shame.

It boggles my mind how bad they are at designing their watches to be honest. The case shapes are all inferior to their vintage counter parts, the aesthetic suffers from too much clutter on the dials, the colors they choose are almost never complementary, I could go on...

There have been very few models I actually like, the original bronzo was close to being an excellent effort but even then it could have been better.

It took me learning about the work done by the hommage community and learning about the real history of panerai before I actually became a fan of the brand.

That being said I would never choose a gen modern panerai over a high quality homage build.

My 2 cents for what their worth.

I agree. I got my pam 372 rep soon after being bitten by the vintage pam bug.And the more I became involved in this hobby the more I realized how inferior the new editions looked compared to the high quality homages. At one point I just felt that there
was no way back anymore and I have never looked at Panerai's numerous reinterpretaions of their historic models with the same eyes anymore.

Factories dont seem to make PAM reps any longer...
That said I like it, 372 case is the best modern case imho and 127 style hands and dial make for an instant classic
