Still pretty much my favourite contemporary Panerai.
I'd just treated myself to a Brietling Navitimer and a week later I saw one of these for the first time and cursed my timing. It was the watch that introduced me to the brand and I still hanker after one.
Very envious.

I believe the 024 is still the longest running model.

The first and my favorite "homage" to the Egi.

Yes it is!
But...in my eyes, it was only truly special until they started changing it.
When they added the markers...stopped using tritium...used diferent materials for the case...and even changed the case shape slitghtly....in my eyes the watch lost what makes it unique, simplicity and conection with the past!
