My watch winder that I recently let my wife use has a delay period in which it doesn’t run therefore avoiding the constant winding issue.
My hope is that she will enjoy it in time savings although it shouldn’t be an issue as her watch has a quickdate feature.
On the other hand I don’t wind any of mine as I enjoy the process of getting the date and time correct in the morning for whichever watch I’ve chose for the day.
It helps me pay attention and enjoy it for those few minutes I’m getting it ready.

i would deff need 1, i have 5 watches automatics i wear reguarly, but is pain in the ass to wind them every 1-2 days, power reserve is around 38-40h, so if i wear 1 watch 2 days, others stop, so i dont think is good to unscrew every crown wind the watch i would wear every 3-4 days.. i agree is not completely safe using it but would be very easy for me just to pick up and wear the one i want.

I can hands down recommend a watch winder. They keep my watch running smoothly when I don' wear it. In addition it helps with the maintenance (longer life) plus they keep it dust free. And if you have one with a nice display glass, it will look really cool too. I have one from Versa (review here) and it was really good value (like $40)
Please let me know if you're having more questions

I admit that I have no automatic watches in use, we don't get along at all.
I am the automatic winder of my manual watches....if that makes any sense.

Never used one, never had an auto with any issues.

To me, it would be like leaving my car running as I am going to use it tomorrow....
The real problem, as I see it, is that we have more than one watch and that wasn't the issue back then when a person had only one watch.
