River sells both kinds of replacements.

I have been told that the prototype was a 2824-1 and the rest were 2770

Hmmmmmmm!

But, weren't all of the Mille Metri's prototypes?? Don't think any of these went into production....so 2770??

I think 2770 was the initial idea but maybe some of them were fitted with the 2824.

One could put it that way. One was made and worn, with sapphire crystal and ETA2824-1, 7 or 8 more were finished later, with the 2770 and plexi, at least according to the video.

Guys, I read the information like the devil reads the bible, it is the other way around. The prototype was a 2824-1 and the rest were 2770.

So sorry for the confusion I caused.
