I disassembled the movement for cleaning and eliminating the parts that protrude from the side of the dial:

I removed the brass pin with a staking tool, as Yoda told:

I removed the steel pin in the picture by pulling out with the help of a small pliers as told Yoda:

Now I have to split the gear, or sand down the wide part:

Image

Yoda advised not to use the dremel disk. Both the file and the disk are wider than the cleavage:

Hold the smallest part in a pin vice and grind away the fat part. Leave a part of the tube, you know what I mean when you look at the picture before you disassembled the setting parts.
I find it easier to remove the geared portion from the side and then part of the tube.
Just don't press hard, that wheel is very brittle.

I tried the Yoda method, however my files are really bad and did not work.

I tried as well a marquetry saw for hard materials without success.

Then I went to a carbuncle drill that I brought for forged steel an others very hard materials.

Sorry for the quality of the video. I used one hand with the mobile and the other with the dremel.

The final result:

Tips:

- if I had not used the cooper wire the gear would had jump away three times.
- only the tip of the drill bit worked smoothly
- protective glases are compulsory. I put the watchmaker's magnifying glass inside.
- I remembered the advice of Yoda about the danger of break or explosion, and worked with many stops so that the gear do not get hot
