Having some health problems since last years march, which sometimes turn me down, but then I'm thinking of you and how strong you are fighting against the c.. You are my role modell and I hope and pray that you'll win the battle against this f***ing disease.

No guts, no glory. That was then, some thirty years ago when my mind for some reason thought that I would live forever.
We now know that it is not the truth, water can wear down solid rock and that is where I am now. Half of me has been completely worn down and I am clinging to the other half and have been for years and even more these last months.
I used to be a fighter, but I have lost some of that on the way.
Most things are on hold, but I will try to fulfill my obligations as soon as possible.

I am saddened to hear these updates. As a less active member, I love to read your stories and daily musings in the general section even though I may not always comment. Often they contain valuable insights and lessons on life in general and also a glimpse of your adventurous past life.

I am one of those with stuff owing (2 Hamiltons I think? And a 6152/2 with a SF240)... I try to wait patiently and not to disturb your recovery, although i do check in here often hoping to see news that you have recovered. Thanks for offering to arrange to sort things out through Emilio.

I really hope you and your doctors will beat that C once and for all, my continued prayers with you.

So far I have won all my battles, certainly at a price, but won nevertheless.
This one I have is malignant, but it is slow and there is a good chance that I won't die from it but take it with me when my time is up.

At my father it was discovered when he was 60
The doctor said it would not be a problem, he would die with it but not from it.
The doctor was wrong, my dad died from it last year - 90 years old.
So the "problem" was, that he did not have other diseases at that age...

Most probably you will also have at least 30 more pleasant years!
