Hey folks, while researching more about the 3646, I found this very interesting video on one specific watch that made it to the US. It’s a very fascinating human interest story rather than a watch story, but I had to share it with everyone. Chances are you’ve seen it, but in case you haven’t - here it is.

Enjoy.

It is absolutely great to hear the background story. And as for the watch itself, there are a few details that stand out to me particularly.
1. the incredibly thin ends of the cushion midcase:

2. the very irregular fill of the indices

(although this might be due to the lighting?)
3. this great detail on how the welding for the crown was finished, with the notches:

4. and finally, this paint fill of the engraved RP falling out in a very specific and curious pattern.

(Does anyone know how that might have come about??)

Tr0y dial has the same pivot markers similar like that and somehow cannot be filled by water base paint, I tried.
Tell him to fill with pastel color stick in that new modern cnc engrave dial

My Tr0y dial, no more hollow dots.

Here the same pin hole on Tr0y dial i capture from someone build. Need to blow up to see unfilled pinhole markers.

Obviously that watch has dial replaced. Homage!!!
Pantograph engrave dial doesn’t have that pin holes CNC markers.
