Rebuilt for a Friend who dive with it in th sea : result being watch fully drawn with salty water.
Movement was a a2436 rusty as hell. So swaped the movement for a swatch automatic eta, the original rusty hands for memory, New dial and a nice oyster.
Tough part was to properly secure the movement as etas in swatch watches have no hole for screws to secure it with movement tabs. So i had to machine another movement ring to make pressure on the first one(not to much!Image) When caseback is screwed all the way down. ImageImageImageImage

Forgot to Say it was originally a 1680 and is now a 5512(dial) so plexi cyclope had to disappear ! Left is a lot of work on case reshaping(cg) but my Buddy could'nt wait so, maybe one day will he let me finish it properly!ImageImage

That looks great!! These movements are great and a bargaik, but as you say - only pressure fit 😬

The hour and seconds hands came from a standard mercedes set easily aviable. The minute hand came from:
