Do you mean get the same patina for the turtle pattern?
My goal was to reproduce water look with verdigris, and the turtle is polished so as it is more visible. With these Seiko cases, the dial is deep inside...
No I meant darker patina, like the case. I think it would make a nice contrast with the polished turtle on the dial
Sorry, I 'couldn't explain myself better. I meant more patina on the hands so they could match the case.
The dial is just perfect, I love the polished turtle over the verdigris base

Ok, I understand now, (you don't need to be sorry :thumbup: )
I was just willing a brass finish on the hands, so I have gently sanded the golden plating.
Problem is that hour hand seems to be made of brass, whereas minute hand alloy is more on silver tint (first time I see this with a set of hands!)
So, with 2 different alloys, we can't get the same effect or patina...
