Like everyone here, I'm obsessed with watches, and have been for two decades. About five years ago, I started collecting somewhat seriously - mostly divers and some Flieger, ranging from Seiko to Sinn, Breitling to microbrands. I've come across this board by chance after a member mentioned it in another forum. I honestly had no idea you guys existed. I also had no idea what absolutely insane dedication I would find, and the more I read through the posts and see the different builds, the clearer it is to me that THIS is the kind of collecting I want to do. Hands on, DIY, wearing something because I put months of work and research into it, and not because I dropped $20k at a boutique. So, thanks for infecting me I guess you devils.
I hope I won't annoy you with my noob questions for too long, and I'll be lurking and learning the terminology and the techniques so I can hopefully one day a) contribute more than just a drooling emoji to all the builds here, and b) build a transitional 3646 MMOP homage for myself. Cheers.
