Got this one for a steal, thinking - these hands look SF190 to me.

Arrived today and... nope
but this doesn’t look half bad. Edit: 43mm ( was: Sub 40mm), nice cdg, a bit tall maybe... running a little tired. Perfect for a beginners service and maybe something more... I‘ll pull it out of the case and measure it shortly

Setting the alarm is fun. There’s a pusher on top of the crown hat advances the time by hours
Edit: I stand corrected. It’s a top loader and there’s quite some meat there. It measures ~43mm and ~9mm in thickness

Movement by Schild.
I used it a lot in my Big Egiziano builds.
Easy to spot it from pictures and definitely not a sf190 from pictures of back case and hands.
Service it and keep it because install it in a case will be a pain in a ***
It is big but main problem is thickness.

Great info, thank you! Shows how much I know about these... still it‘s a nice little clock, I‘ll practice my servicing skills on it and give it a nice place.Kp0y wrote: ↑February 16th, 2021, 11:33 am Movement by Schild.
