M, sorry to hear this.

My grandmother is 103. She pointed out to me she has seen all of her friends die. She laughs and says it's not a bad thing. "Better then them seeing me die."

We talk a lot about the most ridiculous topics and I have learned so much about life and death from her.

Everyone gets to die o̶n̶c̶e̶ . (Some lucky people get to try it more than once.) It's sad that as we get older we see a lot more of it as our friends age.

Funny how our paths cross other peoples paths in life. The best outcome is a true friendship, even if it is too short.

One of my old friends passed a few days ago, cancer.
His wife called and told me that he was gone....

I knew that he wasn't well and that he was going to be treated with radiation and chemo therapy.

I met him when I took a course in case making in silver and gold, he was my teacher then.

Michael, I am really sorry for your friend. This damn cancer... May his soul rest in piece.
