They hold their value pretty good though .
Seiko makes some good models ,what i dont like is their lettering logos etc on dials and their casebacks.
A seiko with a sterile or liitle less information on dial and a thicker caseback is pretty good upgrade for my taste.
Still this is among the favorite Seikos.

Still this is among the favorite Seikos.
It is the Alpinist. You can occasionally find a good deal on ebay from a company that refurbs them. This is basically a brand new returned one that I got for about half the new price. Better deal than I could find on a used one and I looked for a while.
