A great start for a base. I may modify it a bit more and would like purchase a strap from one of our strap makers to start it off on the right foot with HF v2

Sorry I should at least ask, are y’all okay with this as an HF PASS around Watch?

Yes the last stop was brewtown. I was hounding him periodically for months and he never got the watch sent off. The sad thing about the watch v1 was that it had a great engraving.

I have an HF dial around somewhere i can pitch in if we wan’t to mod it up as it goes around.

Hey guys, thanks for the response.

My goal was just to get maybe an old HF Dial but leave it otherwise alone.

Keeping in mind that the original HF Passaround was a very simple quartz Chrono from Parnis I wanted to limit how “nice” this thing got.

An engraving is another thing I considered.

Otherwise on the old one, guys would sign their username on the strap and it would take a short trip in their town and travel around to another nearby member.

The movement is some inexpensive Asian 6497 unmarked and the case is probably a base metal with some spray on bronze colored looking finish. I don’t think it will give the nice patina we may expect to see.

It can go about as is in my opinion.

So, as a contribution I would like to send it off to start with a new strap for signatures. I’m happy to work with anyone but I’ve such a close relationship with Blueradish I was going to buy one from him to put on it. Straps68. Thank you for your generous offer. I think I’d like to let J have first decline for it since he’s one of the moderators. I hope that doesn’t offend you as I love your straps and the many other strap makers on the forum.

Okay. More info soon.

For now maybe we can get a list going on those interested and we can start to plan for it to go around the USA first and NA before it heads towards east or west.
