What is going on?

Post by Yoda »

Is it because I am getting older, that I suddenly find myself in a crowd where almost everyone is suffering from something?

I met up with an old friend a few days ago, the healthiest man I know. He visited his doctor a month ago because he discovered a small lump behind his left ear....

It was a mother tumor, they found several more...one in his face, a couple in his neck and more around his collarbone...

The removed them all, including lymph nodes, 14 of 16 were infected with this damn disease.

The facial nerve was damaged by the surgery, leaving his left eye open all the time and the corner of his mouth is hanging.

I have seen a lot of death in my time, all sorts of deaths and dead people, but to see a buddy like this is close to what I can handle.

Helpless, I am. Speechless, I am. Frightened, I am.

My friend is not going to survive this, I could easily tell from his looks and from the look in his eyes.
We were both scared to death, we cried a bit and talked a lot.

They are going to try radiation and cytotoxin for a while, I keep my fingers crossed.....

I'm saddened to read about your friend.I hope the therapy will work and he will have at least some good years ahead.

I don't know what's going on,but it seems this disease is everywhere, doctors often say it's because we live longer and cancer, being mainly desease of the older people, seems more wide spread. But many or even the majority of those infected I've heard or known myself, are in their 50s or 60s,or even 30s or 40s. There must be some reason for that and the scientific community should do more to find out why, imo.

I see the same tendencies as you, M, in my surroundings.
My personal guess is that one contribution is our life style. But I think we are also approaching the time in life where people simply start dying.
The human failure rate is starting to rise beyond 50....

I'm sorry to hear that, Michael.
Definitely, I think we are approaching an age when the people we know, like ourselves, get old. And you know the bad thing about getting old ...

To add to the main thing....

I had a thing removed not long ago, the surgeon called me now. Damn, damn....
He removed "something extra" without telling me, now he says that the pathologist found something suspicious around the edges of that sample and that he will see to that I get a complete check of the "body costume", I guess he is referring to my skin.
I hope that it at least will be performed by a young girl with a nice scent and smooth skin.

Ok guys, have a cigar and stay tuned.

It ain't over until the fat lady sings.

So sorry M...

You seen to be facing this type of thing every other week, I can only imagine how difficult this must be. My prayers are with you and your friend.

Cancer is such a horrible reality and while I think lifestyle can play a role in it, I dont think it is the primary contributing factor.

Cancer from what I understand is a natural occurance, and usually the body can deal with it. Sometimes it doesn't work out and it ends up flourishing and taking over.

I beleive that the foods that we have been conditioned to eat, the trace adulterants resulting from food production, as well as other environmental factors that we are bombarded with have caused this epidemic.

If our system is thrown out of balance and pumped full of substances that promote cancer, then we cant fight it naturally.

Genetics are also a big factor, some people seem to have the ability to fight it off better than others.

I truly beleive that the excessive sugars and carbs in the modern diet, pesticides and other chemicals found in processed foods, pollution, wifi, bluetooth, cell phone signals etc all work against us...

Now they want to push 5g... From what I have been hearing a lot of scientists are extremely concerned about it.

I did some reading about one particular diet called "gaps" that may be of interest to anyone wanting to detox or heal. It was designed to treat people with celiac disease, but the protocol actually seems to promote overall healing of the body and mind. It has been shown to even help people suffering from neurological conditions that have otherwise had no luck. The health of our bodies gut bacteria has been linked to various different aspects of our overall health. Eating sugars and carbs actually promote types of bacteria to flourish that release toxins into our systems that cause major inflammation response.

I tried this diet for 3 months by recommendation due to chronic pain from a crushed vertabrae in my back. I lost weight, felt amazing and had absolutely no pain. I fell off the wagon due to the chaos of life, but I experience a tangible benefit from this diet.

I reccomend it to everyone now. Maybe it can be of some use.
