Vintage LeCoultre clock reconditioned

Have a few vintage clocks that I got to practice working on movements.

This one had the leather burnt and was needing cleaned up. So I disassembled it polished all the metal and replaced the leather. It looks a lot better to me and still retained the vintage look.

I looked in my books, it appears to be a 1940s Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 202. The 202 was also made with triple complications like day, date and month.
But this one is good, simple and working well.

Thanks for looking it up Michael. I had no idea of the decade it was made I just wanted a non alarm, crown winding movement I could study. I wind it just once a week and it looses about 3 minutes a week.

No problem, it was fun to do some research.

Did you service the movement? It should be able to do +/- 30 seconds a week.
By the way, did you leave the old leather be underneath?
Case material, nickel on brass?
