If you manage to get more pictures of the restoring process please, share them with us. I know that's sometimes it's a pain to take pictures while doing stuff so no pressure!

I rarely take pictures, sorry. But, I will open it for you guys!
I tore it all apart and slipped the brass parts into a bath with acid to remove the old clearcoat. After that I polished everything, plates and screwheads. The movement had the standard treatment, a few minutes in the ultrasonic bath, assembling and oiling.

The only real "work" was to turn the feet a little to remove scratches and pitting from handling. I also just noticed that the movement is stamped 53 1, it means January 1953.
