BTW, what did you use to fill engravings on numbers, minute markers, etc? Is it wax?

As I was looking for something little bit vintage I used wax to fill in white and red. I'm not really happy with my lume application, there was grooves in the lume after drying, and the multilayer is not clean, I need to find a solution to have puffy effect on the second one.
Nice looking dials!

You can reduce the appearance of cracks or grooves in the lume if you dry it with a heat gun or hairdryer instead of letting it air dry.

And when the paints not completly dry, I sweep the rest of paints with gasoline using optical cloth.

+1 for acrylics.

Wax paint is too messy and leaves residue.
