anyone smarter than me know how to embed a video from that imgur hosting thing

FIXED.

- Whenever you post an imgur.xxxxxx.MP4 file tag it using the [media][/media] labels instead of the (img)(/img) ones

- Right now is not possible to post embedded JavaScripts. That long string you posted which looked like this:

<blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="NZzRvT0"><a href="//imgur.com/NZzRvT0"></a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

You will need to just use the labels around the base URL. In this case imgur.com/NZzRvT0

I edited your post and it did work (on the web version of this forum).

What doesn't work as you intend is posting the JavaScript and some video links. That's why I mentioned the usage of the [url] [\url] tags.

The phpbb system interprets imgur as an images-only platform.

Whenever the forum doesn't allow you to post videos or something like that just use the URL tags.
